Must Read Newsletters

We know there is no doubt that I'm all about minimalism (especially in your digital life), but that doesn't mean I don't enjoy getting quite a few newsletters in my inbox! While I would caution you against signing up for a million subscriptions from stores (I need to avoid this particularly because I'm on my year long shopping ban), I am a fan of curating the perfect balance of fun, inspiration, and information. Here is a selection of the newsletters I get and love!

Must Read Newsletters

News

theSkimm (sign up here)
Frequency: Weekdays
I've blogged about theSkimm before and I'll do it again: this newsletter is a MUST. It gives you the most essential news in a fun and informative way, and the best part is it's a quick read. My friend Tina and I are always using it as a starting point for our current events conversations and are completely sold.

Morning Brew (sign up here)
Frequency: Weekdays
This daily newsletter is geared towards business and I love that they have a quiz at the end of each week to see how much you've been paying attention.

Fortune Data Sheet (sign up here)
Frequency: Daily
This newsletter starts out with an essay about a current business technology topic and then includes a digest of other relevant articles. If you're into the technology world (or want to learn more) this is a great way to start your day.

Career/Lifestyle/Etiquette

Career Contessa (sign up here)
Frequency: Weekly
This is another site I've blogged about because their information is just so spot on. If you want to learn about successful career women, how they got there, and what you can do to grow in your career, this newsletter is for you.

Weekly Dose (sign up here)
Frequency: Biweekly
Dr. Samantha Boardman is a psychiatrist who shares interesting information about the way the mind works and how you can optimize yours. Her articles are wicked short and a great read.

OKREAL (sign up here by scrolling to the bottom of the page)
Frequency: Weekly
I stumbled upon OKREAL and immediately feel in love with the design and high quality content. This newsletter sends a digest of what is new on the site and gives you a chance to read without becoming overwhelmed.

Ivanka Trump (sign up here by clicking on the envelop on the top right)
Frequency: Biweekly
Based on last week's post you already know why I love Ivanka Trump and her site, so getting her emails is such fun!

The Emily Post Institute (sign up here)
Frequency: Monthly
Etiquette is a big thing around here, so it only makes sense that I follow along with the best. The Emily Post Institute is run by the Post family and, as such, has information to improve yourself in every aspect of your life.

Now that I take a look at this list I might not be quite as minimalist as I though haha! What newsletters brighten up your inbox?
