Blog Post Organization

I have found that keeping an organized blog schedule is essential; especially while in school. Over the summer when I really had the chance to spend countless hours on my blog (but really...) it seemed like it would be easy to continue on once school began. Now I see however that there are quite a few tasks that you must be on top of if you hope to maintain the quality of your work!
Click to read now or pin to save for later! Blogging can get overwhelming! Here's how to stay organized with your posts
Write posts in advance. I do my absolute best to be at least two weeks ahead of schedule. I post three times a week (on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays) which means I need a minimum of six blog posts prepared and scheduled.

Schedule posts automatically. If you use Blogger you can schedule your posts to go live at anytime. When you write a post look at the bar on the right, click schedule, select set date and time, and then click publish once you've put in that information.

Keep a calendar of when posts are going up. I keep my blog posts organized on my iCalendar. Along with all of my work and school obligations, I have a separate iCloud calendar labeled "Blog" so I can get a monthly view of what is being posted when.

This is the basic way that I keep my blog posting schedule organized and ready to go! If you're interested in learning about how I formulate posts you can check it out here. Also, leave comments if you want to know how I organize my social media!
